Phew!
It looks like the recent iPod software update (iPod Updater 2005-02-22) knocks out iPodLinux on 3G iPods. The update added some 4G-style functionality, which made me wonder whether iPodLinux would still be functional. My fears were confirmed when I noticed the lack of a Tux icon during restart, but after a quick download of Podzilla and re-installation of iPodLinux, I had my beloved 96kHz recording functionality back.
